What is co | ownership?
It is the smart way to own luxury real estate. 2 to 4 owners share the cost and maintenance of a high-end home while enjoying full legal ownership.

Casana, backed by VEHM’s 25 years of experience in luxury property management and rentals.
Can i own more than ¼ of the property?
Yes. You can acquire 1/2 of the property instead of 1/4, to increase your stay nights and your share of the rental pool income.
How many nights can I stay?
You get 30 “Long Notice” nights per year plus unlimited “Short Notice” stays if the calendar is open.
How does the scheduling system work?
Through a fair and equitable “Rotating Draft” system to ensure all owners have the opportunity to book peak weaks.
Can I leave personal belongings at the property?
Absolutely. Each owner has a designated private storage space, and we prepare the home with your belongings before you arrive.
Can I exchange my stays for other international destinations?
Yes. Through our partnership with Thirdhome Reserve, you can exchange your available nights for stays in thousands of luxury properties worldwide.
What is the “zero-cost goal?
You can offer your unused nights for rent and distribute the income proportionally to offset your property’s maintenance and operating costs.
What happens if a co-owner defaults?
Casana assumes responsibility for any unpaid fees to ensure the home’s operation remains seamless while we handle the legal resolution.
What does the monthly fee cover?
It includes property taxes, insurance, utilities, professional management, a dedicated account executive, and personalized concierge services.
Why is there a fee for Short Notice nights?
The $95 USD fee covers professional cleaning and maintains equity among owners, ensuring the home is always in pristine condition for every stay.
How is my investment legally protected?
Our ownership is secured through a bank trust (Fideicomiso) managed by BBVA, ensuring your participation is a legally recognized real estate asset.
How do you vet owners?
Every owner must pass a strict “Know Your Customer” (KYC) validation and background check to maintain an exclusive and safe community.
Can I sell my Casana in the future?
Yes, you can sell your Casana at any time and at the price you choose, with Casana’s support to facilitate the process.
What is the 12-month Buy-Back Guarantee?
If you are unsatisfied for any reason within the first year, Casana will buy back your ¼ or ½ *.
